Hello, I'm Volodymyr

I am a software developer based in Kyiv, Ukraine. I dedicated my life to programming and technology. And it would be a sin if I had not used my skills to develop something that could potentially help a good cause: bring additional attention to the ongoing War in Ukraine.

The Goal of This Site

To bring additional awareness to the ongoing War in Ukraine and to demonstrate the strength and effectiveness of Ukraine's defense against russian occupying forces.

How this site works

This site is group of applications.

Scrapper app for scrapping data of russian losses from two sources: Ministry of defense of Ukraine and Oryx OSINT : Scrapper code

Backend app for processing storing and providing access to data: Backend code

Frontend app for displaying data, which You can observe on this site: Frontend code

Backend Node.js app periodically (on schedule) runs scraping, receives data and persists it in mongo DB. Frontend app is Angular Application on bleeding-edge Angular17 with brand new SSR support. Most data grouping is performed on frontend to minimize network traffic.
